"Calia @ Pavilion offers a creative and flavorful dining experience that combines presentation with taste. We arrived a little after 4 p.m., and the place was nearly empty, giving it a calm and cozy feel. Our table overlooked the street, which made the ambience even more relaxing and comfortable. By around 5 p.m., the restaurant began to fill up, creating a livelier, yet still pleasant, atmosphere. We started with two refreshing fruit drinks — the Fresh Apples, Pineapple & Lemon Mint and the Orange & Carrot Mint. Both were vibrant, fresh, and beautifully balanced. The Abura Salmon dish was interestingly presented, with rice hidden beneath thin slices of salmon. While the flavor was average, the creativity made it memorable. The highlight of the meal, however, was the Calia Bear Garden Shabu Shabu Soup. The concept itself was delightful — a bear-shaped dough filled with chicken broth that slowly melts into a pot of assorted vegetables right before your eyes. It was not only fun to watch but also rich and delicious in flavor. To finish, we had the Hojicha Fruit Tea infused with mango and pineapple, along with the Original Burnt Cheesecake. Both were excellent — the tea was fragrant and refreshing, and the cheesecake was creamy with just the right balance of sweetness. Service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and took their time to explain the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations that enhanced our experience."

"Calia is a nice restaurant to dine in Pavillion Kuala Lumpur. Been here many times and really enjoyed the food. The dishes were fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. One of my favourite is the salmon and avocado — the salmon was very fresh and buttery, paired perfectly with the creamy avocado. The combination was light, healthy, and satisfying. The overall taste was clean and well-balanced, with a modern twist on traditional Japanese flavors. The ambience was cozy and stylish, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal. Definitely a place I would visit again and again. Keep some space for their dessert as well."

"We came across this restaurant during shopping time and was quite amazed by the menu presentation itself! Ordered Salmon Mentaiko Don, Australian Wagyu Don, Ebi Ramen and Engawa Don for both of us (my fat boyfriend was feeling hungry)! Im a beef lover, he's a Prawn and fish lover. To be honest we both did enjoyed so much and finished the food although I myself was fully stuffed ! Worth the wait for their preparation as well. Thanks to the floor manager, if not mistaken his name was Ben, that took time to explain / recommend to us. We will return to try others in the menu soon !"

"Overall pleasant experience and the service was fine. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and even requested for them to write something on the cake. In terms of food, we ordered a few things and the portions were pretty large in my opinion. Dishes ordered: 1. Chawanmushi Ikura: There was a lot of filling inside such as mushrooms and there was no unpleasant egg taste. Very filling. 2. Sashimi Maguro: Fresh, but not to my liking. They also provided a few condiments such as sweet soy sauce. 3. Wagyu Burger: It came with truffle fries and both were perfectly seasoned, not too salty. The burger tasted like an ordinary burger but I liked that the patty was not too fatty. 4. Charcoal Truffle Collagen Ramen: This was the last dish to arrive and we were so full at this point. The serving was large and included one whole egg that I think was soaked in a sauce because it tasted quite sweet. The truffle flavor was a little too overwhelming. 5. Avocado Matcha (⭐⭐): The star of the show, it was so good! There was no bitterness from the avocado, the sweetness was just right and it was very creamy. 6. Taro Strawberry: The taste was well balanced between the strawberry and taro. 7. Matcha Mia Tiramisu: The coffee flavor was too strong."

"First time trying the food here. If you look at the menu, you could be discouraged by the prices but that's quality you are buying and biting into. If you are trying for the first time and want to try all or most of the food in one sitting, get a few fellas and share. Order reach dish and share. I won't spoil the fun by reviewing the offerings like a food reviewer. I'll do with photos instead and you can do the judging when you are there. Service is fast, the waiters attentive. To have a quieter feel, if you are going for dinner, try the 5-6pm slot. On weekdays, preferably. Slightly crowded on weekends."
